Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Business & Operations Manager to oversee and support our European business operations, with additional coordination across the UK market. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in company setup and administration, accounting, bookkeeping, VAT returns, and operational management across multiple European countries.

This role is suited for a proactive professional who can manage financial and operational processes while ensuring compliance with European and UK business regulations, with the primary focus on the European market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day business and operational activities across European entities and the UK market

  • Assist with company formation, registration, and ongoing business administration

  • Manage accounting, bookkeeping, and financial record-keeping processes

  • Prepare and coordinate VAT returns and ensure compliance with European and UK VAT regulations

  • Monitor invoices, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting

  • Coordinate with accountants, tax advisors, banks, and external service providers

  • Support cross-border trading operations and regulatory compliance throughout Europe

  • Maintain accurate operational and financial documentation

  • Assist with budgeting, reporting, and business performance monitoring

  • Support process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives

Requirements

  • Proven experience in European business operations, administration, or office management

  • Strong accounting and bookkeeping experience

  • Knowledge of European and UK VAT requirements and VAT return preparation

  • Experience managing or assisting with company setup and corporate administration

  • Strong understanding of European business operations and cross-border compliance

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and business entities simultaneously

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills

  • Experience working with accounting software and ERP systems

  • Additional European language skills, including Polish or German, are highly advantageous

 

Job Requirements:

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree or certification in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • Experience working with European and UK companies

  • Familiarity with international trading and operational compliance

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience for support-level positions

  • Minimum of 3 years of management experience for managerial-level candidates
